About Me

I am a Washington state landscape painter who is continually fascinated and inspired by the wonderful flora and fauna in the area around my home. I love art and nature, essential parts of my being that cannot be separated from who I am. I primarily work with acrylics because I enjoy the immediacy of the medium and the way that it allows me to work quickly and in many layers. When I’m not painting, I’m knitting, when I’m not knitting, I’m taking reference photos to paint from, often during long walks around my neighborhood and the surrounding territory. Sometimes my cat, Nut, comes with me.
